Norm and his wife DenisAnn have lived in Sun Lakes since 2002 – their time used to be split evenly between Sun Lakes and Redmond, Washington, but a year ago they sold their home in Washington, tiring of their rainbirds status, and became permanent Arizona residents. They have four daughters and one son. They have fifteen grandkids, and now nine great-grandkids with one on the way. Most of Norm’s career was spent in aerospace, selling avionics equipment to the commercial airframes and airlines of the world. In the process, he traveled over 150,000 miles a year while visiting 82 countries. The last ten working years, he owned the Noble Group, a small company that wrote and published custom newsletters for corporations...
Norm joined Sun Lakes Rotary in 2005 and has been heavily involved ever since, serving as President in 2010-2011 and as Director of Communications over all the years. He writes and publishes our weekly newsletter, the Sun Riser, and writes all the publicity about the Club, including articles in the Sun Lakes Splash/SunBird News, and San Tan newspapers, plus our Rotary club brochures and promotion for our major charity events.

Norm is proud of his membership in the Sun Lakes Rotary Club for several reasons, but principally because of the fellowship he enjoys with the members, the outreach the Club makes with the Chandler Unified School District, and the things he learns thanks to outstanding speakers week-by-week.
