Human Services Campus - homelessness

Amy Schwabenlender is executive director of the Human Services Campus, a 13-acre site near downtown Phoenix where 16 independent nonprofit social service agencies collaborate on services and programs to help individuals experiencing homelessness move off the streets and into permanent housing.

Before joining the Human Services Campus, Amy spent the past 13 years as Vice President of Community Impact for the Valley of the Sun United Way.

A 2016 Piper Fellow and a graduate of Valley Leadership, Schwabenlender holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Communication from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and an MBA from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. 

She believes that her passion personifies her role: "My leadership style focuses on goals and measurable outcomes...and possibly most importantly, I bring a heart and compassion for the populations who access the Campus."
