Mathews Crossing Food Bank

Mathews Crossing Food Bank is located in Chandler and provides food service to the greater Chandler community for those in need.  The Rotary Club of Sun Lakes first started supporting Mathews Crossing in Rotary year 2011 & 2012 by making a donation of $100 each club meeting in the name of the club meeting speakers as a way to express our THANK YOU for their time and effort to speak to our club members.  Additionally, some of the RCSL members volunteered there and as a result, it was found that they badly needed a referigater/freezer.  Based on this need, a fund raiser was started and withe the use of a D5510 Grant one was purched for $4,254 and donated for their use in 2011.
