Steps of Love Charity
Dec 21, 2021 6:30 AM
Kathleen Duncan will share with us her Steps of Love charity. This organization provides young people in Mexico with a path out of poverty through education. They envision a world where all children have access to quality educational opportunities that can help them realize their full potential. Where a child starts in life should not determine where they finish. |

Students Recycling Used Technology
Mar 29, 2022 4:30 PM
I have been with AZSTRUT since October 2013. I started out as a Student Intern and for three years I volunteered my time with AZSTRUT. I heard about AZSTRUT while being a student at Training To You in phoenix. In 2014, I received my certificate at Training To You in Computer Repair. In June 2016, I became the Assistant Manager, which is the position I have been in ever since. I’ve enjoyed my time with AZSTRUT and am looking forward to the future. |

With extensive experience in the nonprofit sector in a variety of human service environments, Laura Pahules knew that domestic violence was a systemic problem that impacted every single organization and agency she managed. From the homeless to foster care, domestic violence was a common denominator. Her education is outside the realm of human service however she utilizes that education and career experience to run Control Alt Delete - a nonprofit that helps people escape domestic violence by providing one time assistance to remove the barriers that keep them in unsafe environments. Outside of Control Alt Delete Laura spends free time reading, cooking, playing with her grandchildren and tending to her pollinator garden |

Hello, my name is Karina Logan-Robledo and I am one of the Directors for Kesem at Arizona State University. I am studying biomedical sciences with a minor in psychology. Being a part of the Kesem community has been the highlight of my college career. Kesem provides free year-round services to children (aged 6-18) dealing with a parent or guardian's cancer. Our main program is a fun-filled, week-long summer camp which allows our often overlooked population of children to be kids again and know they are never alone. |
