Sun Lakes Rotary (Chartered April 22, 1986) is a leadership organization made up of men and women from local businesses, professional, education, civic and emerging leaders.  We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships, and through that we’re able to get things done in our greater Sun Lakes community.  Come join us and share our passion for community service and friendship.

Bill Joined the Club in February 2014 and became actively involved.  Immediately he joined several committees and chaired the Club’s effort in developing a Strategic Plan. Grady was born and raised in Minnesota.  After high school, he attended college and obtained his teaching degree.  He also met the love of his life during this time and married Belinda Wentz. During college, he managed several golf courses and gave golf lessons.  He had the unique experience of giving golf instruction for a couple years to an individual, Tom Lehman who was for several years a professional on the PGA tour with several tour wins...
 
Dave was born in 1950 and raised on a dairy farm in eastern North Dakota. He graduated from high school in 1968 and earned an athletic scholarship from a small North Dakota college to play football, basketball and baseball... 
 
In 1981 Adrian was born in Killeen, Texas. Not long after, his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and then settled in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Mt Point High School and then on to Johnson County Community College to receive a Railroad Conductor Certification... 
 
Bill Schink received the Service Above Self for all his hard work as the Chair of the Golf Tournament Fund Raiser.  Lew Langer was awarded the John McCain Good Guy Award for all that he has done for the Club, including the setup for every Tuesday morning meeting, and Don Robins was awarded the Rotarian of the Year Award for his leadership and personal involvement of the Educational Services Committee and his work with the Formula One (F1) high school program and the A World in Motion (AWIM) for elementary schools that both promote Technology, Math, Science and Engineering.
 
Stan was born and raised in Alberta, Canada graduating from the University of Alberta with an M.B.A. in 1970.  Married to Susanne 1967 (50 yearsJ) with three children. He began his career in Toronto 1970 as an Ag & Business lender with Toronto Dominion Bank, specializing in tobacco and marina credit... 
 
Not long after the opening of the new Camille Casteel High School it was learned that there was a need for a large flagpole to be centrally located on the athletic ball fields.  The club decided that this was a good community project and in support of education.  It soon became a reality and just recently the dedication happened when the Casteel High School baseball team opened their 2018 home baseball season on February 27, 2018.  On hand for the dedication were some members of the Rotary Club of Sun Lakes.  Standing next to the flagpole: On the left, Matt Perisho, Baseball Coach and on the right, Principal Sandy Lundberg and Rotarian, John McKoy...
