The Sun Lakes Rotary Club has a June Rotarian of the Month, Bill McCoach. Bill Joined the Club in February 2014 and became actively involved. Immediately he joined several committees and chaired the Club’s effort in developing a Strategic Plan. With his Club involvement, he was selected as the Service Above Self recipient for the 2014 – 2015 Rotary Year...
After serving as the Club’s Vice President and President-Elect, he became President for nearly two years, over 2015 – 2017. Bill remains active and chairs the Club’s Sun Lakes Splash deliveries as well as writing the Club Meeting summaries for the Club’s Sun Riser bulletin and providing input for the club Facebook page. He is a multiple Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Bill has been on the Membership, Sergeant-at-Arms, The Rotary Foundation, Social, Pancake, and Golf fundraiser committees. Additionally, as Club President, he also served on the Sun Lakes Rotary Foundation 2000 Board. Bill is a retired CFO prior to relocating to Sun Lakes and was also a Rotary Club President in Ohio and a Rotary Assistant Governor for three years.
