The Sun Lakes Rotary Club named Bill Crump its Rotarian of the Month for October. Bill joined Sun Lakes Rotary October 1, 2016. It didn’t take long for his leadership skills to become apparent, and as a result, he was elected President-Elect of the Club.
Bill was raised in Flint, Michigan and attended Michigan State University where he married his Junior High sweetheart, Maria. Following graduation from college, Bill and Maria lived in Flint on ten acres of land. As if that wasn’t enough, Bill worked as a Fund Raiser for a General Motors non-profit charity. But, the call of the west captivated the couple and in 1999 they moved to Gilbert, Arizona, retiring in 2005 and recently to Sun Lakes. They have a daughter, a Doctor of Optometry, who lives nearby.
Bill’s enthusiasm, sophisticated manner, yet calm way of addressing his responsibilities points out why he is Rotarian of the Month! Congratulations and THANK YOU for your personal time and leadership.
