David and wife Marlyce live in both Sun Lakes, Arizona about 7 months of the year and in Pipestone, Minnesota the rest of the year.  They have three daughters and six grandchildren.   Their summer is spent working at their farm in Minnesota and spending time with family on beautiful Long Lake.  Additionally, they own a majority interest in a swine production company as well as a feed mill and grain elevator in Pipestone, MN.   This business has grown over the years since 1993 from 7 employees to over 150...
David was a member of Kiwanis before joining the Sun Lakes Rotary Club in 2016 and has become involved in various Rotary projects and programs such as the Golf Tournament Committee, delivering the Splash and the Pancake Breakfast Committee along with recruiting club meeting speakers.  Additionally, he serves as Board Secretary of the Sun Lakes Rotary Foundation 2000, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit.

David is proud to be a Rotarian because of the things the Club does for the Community, particularly the Chandler Unified School District.  He believes that if we can encourage young people to develop a spirit of helping others we can perpetuate the spirit of Rotary for years to come
