The Rotary Club of Sun Lakes is proud to announce Bill McCoach as our Rotarian of the Month for October, 2021.
Bill has been a member of our club since 2016, and a Rotarian since 1993. He has held numerous leadership positions in Rotary over the years, including Assistant Governor and Club President. Bill was club president for nearly 2 years in our club, and has most recently been active in the following areas:
- Membership Committee, including exit interviews on members that leave our club. Bill will be organizing ‘Small Groups’ this Rotary year, including Dinner-In / Dinner-Out and Happy Hour Clubs.
- Bill is also our Speaker Chair for this year, he coordinates with Rotarians that agree to find speakers for our meetings. He is a big help to myself as we coordinate presentation material and support our ‘Hybrid Meeting’ approach.
- Bill helped organize our ‘Summer Social Event’ back in July, and always has a keen eye for improvement opportunities for our club meetings / events.
- For several years Bill took notes at our club meetings to help develop the weekly newsletter
Bill is an avid hiker, and is a big baseball fan. He also enjoys traveling (land and cruise).
