Dr. Honora Norton, Gilbert resident with husband Mike Elert, is an accomplished visionary professional with domestic and international management experience in for-profit, non-profit, academic, community and faith-based environments and industries. Dr. Norton states her personal strength is “connecting the unexpected".
Now retired to rejuvenated action, Dr. Norton collaborates with various civic, business and faith-based leaders and volunteers to sustain and grow community organizations within the Valley. Dr. Norton, an Emeritus Board Member of Catholic Charities Community Services, served as Board Chair, Advisory Board Chair, and volunteer since 2009.
In October 2002, Dr. Norton joined Scottsdale Airpark Rotary Club, serving as 2005 Centennial Club President. In August 2009, she transferred to Rotary Club of Scottsdale serving as a Board Officer, Service Above Self Award Dinner Chair, Public Image Chair, Club Photographer, and more through April 2021. Dr. Norton has served as a District Assistant Governor and on various District Committees; and is an advisor for The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona. Dr. Norton has participated in Mexico on-site Polio-Plus immunizations. Welcome to our Rotary Club.
