We are proud to recognize and honor local, excellent educators and give out the 1st annual Sandy Lundberg Educator of the Year Award.
In providing this recognition, we partnered with the Chandler Manufacturing Intel Corporation for three extraordinary educators of the Chandler Unified School District.  Club Education Committee Chair, Grace Wilson-Woods provided the necessary requirements for the award and Assistant Superintendent, Craig Gilbert provided an overview, detailing the importance of educators interacting with both students and the local community. 
 
Club Education Committee Members Terrie Sanders and Rowin Floth announced the two Runner Ups, Carolyn McCleary of Auxier Elementary School and Caitlin Humphrey of Hartford Sylvia Encinas Elementary School and presented each a recognition plaque and $1,000 provided by the Rotary Club and Intel Corporation.
 
Club Board Director for Education, Don Robins and Grace Wilson-Woods announced the winner of the Sandy Lundberg Educator of the Year Award as Jessica Hogan of Hamilton High School and presented a recognition plaque and $2,000 provided by the Rotary Club and Intel Corporation.
 
Attending the presentation were Chandler Unified School District Superintendent of Schools Camille Casteel and Principals Mike De La Torre of Hamilton High School, Anthony Smith of Auxier Elementary and Heather Anguiano of Hartford Sylvia Encinas Elementary School.
