The AWIM (A World In Motion) program was created by the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Foundation to get elementary students excited about math and science in support of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). They have programs for grades K-8.
Adult and High School Volunteers go into the classroom to assist the teachers and the students.

The Sun Lakes Rotary Club supports the AWIM programs in Chandler Unified School District schools by providing Rotary club volunteers, student recognition and Gold, Silver and Bronze medals which are provided to the winning student teams in each of the five Fulton Elementary 6th grade classrooms.

The overall winning team have their names added to a plaque, provided by our Rotary club, that will be on display in the school trophy case.
