This is our 23rd year for our Annual “Charity” Pancake Breakfast that will be held on Sunday, November 10th. The event ranks as the second most important fundraising event for our Sun Lakes Rotary club.
With the money raised from the Breakfast we can help fund such community activities as providing over 3,800 third-grade dictionaries for Chandler Schools, Teacher of the Month and money for their classroom, programs in support of math and science, Kids Shopping Spree for needed school cloths, Mathews Crossing Food Bank and several college and vocational scholarships. And, the list goes on and on.
This year we estimate that over 1,100 people will attend the event being held at the Sun Lakes Oakwood Country Club from 7:30 AM-12:30 PM. The guests are treated to our gourmet Rotary blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage and a selection of breakfast drinks. Folks are encouraged to come back for seconds.
