I am a native Phoenix Arizonan, born in 1956 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  I was raised in the Arcadia area of Phoenix, attending K-8 at Hopi Elementary School.  I grew up amongst the orange and grapefruit groves and slowly progress turned it into the bedroom community it is today and where I still reside.  Attended Arcadia High School and graduated in 1974 and then on to the University of Colorado where I received a B.S. in Business and also developed an interest in attending dental school, which now is my chosen profession...
Leaving Colorado and back to Arizona, I took one of the skills my Father taught me, painting houses, and ran my own painting business for a year until being accepted into Dental School at the University of Southern California in 1979 and received my D.D.S. Degree in 1983.  I then returned to Phoenix and began a Dental practice in Phoenix.  In this process, I met my beautiful wife Angela and was married in 1989.  We have 3 wonderful children and now 3 beautiful grandchildren which we try to spend as much family togetherness as possible.

After practicing in Phoenix for 8 years I partnered with a Dental School classmate and friend, Kent Saba to open a Dental office in Sun Lakes on October 1, 1991.  Our Dental Clinic is the Saba & Romanin Dental Associates located in the Sun Lakes Medial & Professional Building and we enjoy our patients from the Sun Lakes Community and greater area of Chandler.

I was asked to join the Sun Lakes Rotary Club in 1992 by Rotarian Ernie McGeorge.  At the time, I really didn’t know what Rotary was all about and how it served both the local and international communities.  Now being a member for these 25 years I have personally been inspired and involved with the Sun Lakes Rotary Clubs many community charitable projects and especially the involvement with local education. When you attend a weekly meeting and witness the comradery of the club and have so many personal friendships, you can’t help but be inspired and proud to be a member.  As a proud Rotarian, I try to live by The Four Way Test and support our motto of Service above Self.
