Bill and wife Polly moved to Sun Lakes in 1999 and Bill joined the Sun Lakes Rotary Club in December 1999. Bill received his BS in Business Administration from South East Missouri State in 1963. Before retiring, his career was with Southwestern Bell and AT&T for 35 years in the states of Missouri and Texas. He held various management positions in providing local customer service, Human Resources and Corporate Budgets...
Bill and Polly have three sons, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. They both love the hobby of cruise travel and volunteering with Neighbors Who Care. Additionally, Bill sings in the Phoenix Men’s Barbershop Chorus which has received several awards and recognition.
Bill has participated in several club committees, leads the club in songs and is a long time Sun Lakes Rotary Foundation 2000 Board Director. Additionally, he is a Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor and Bequest Society member. He is proud to be a Rotarian because of the emphasis on community and educational service. It gives him the chance to use the various skills that he developed during his business career.
